Audi is looking for its latest model, the Q2 mini crossover to India
The German luxury car manufacturer, Audi plans to launch its latest Sports Utility Vehicle, the Q2 mini crossover in 2013.
Based on the A1 Sportback MQB platform from Volkswagen and built with it, the variant to a vehicle FWD expectation. It can also come as a Quattro All-Wheel Drive version of its top-end models.
Meanwhile, a 1.4 l direct injection will compact Q2, four cylinder turbo engine also equipped with an innovative cylinder deactivation technology support. Another option is the engine that it sports 1.6 l diesel engine.
These 4 seater SUV equipped with sloping roofline is expected to compete with models like the Peugeot 206, Nissan Juke, Ford EcoSport and the upcoming MINI countryman Coupe.
Other features on the vehicle loaded includes the folded seats in the back, advanced LED headlight technology, state-of-the-art body styling, better seat, higher ride height for enhanced ground clearance, etc.
In the meantime the Q2 mini crossover also makes use of materials such as aluminium, carbon fibre composite and composite plastics to make his body.
Audi is expected to commence the production of his latest by the end of 2014 or early 2015 variant Q2.
